This six day trip is ideal for someone who's interested in outstanding views of
mountains, rivers, lakes, and wildlife. Anyone with a minimum amount of bicycling
experience will be able to breeze through the biking for it is the second
easiest biking trip that we offer.
All biking is done within the Valley of Jackson Hole, all the while viewing the majestic
Teton Mountains leaping from the valley floor of the West side of the valley.
The views of Jackson Lake and the Snake River with the Tetons mirror image on
the water’s surface is a view that will always be implanted in one’s memory long
after leaving this trip. Due to the minimum biking time required for this trip,
two to four hours a day, there is plenty of opportunity for extra activities such as
photography, hiking, rafting, horseback riding, or just relaxing at the lodges with
splendid views in all directions.
This is perhaps our best trip for close-up viewing of wildlife. The Tetons are
teeming with antelope, bison, elk, moose, bear, deer, eagles, Canada geese,
ducks, ospreys, beaver, and coyotes. Also, one may chance upon the rare sight
of porcupine, mountain lion, or gray wolf. Your off day is spent near the South
entrance to Yellowstone National Park with an optional van or bus ride into the
park.
Note: This is a good trip for partners with mixed bicycling abilities. For the more advanced partner, there are two days on which optional rides are available.
